Salary Of The Deputy Speaker Orissa Legislative Assembly Speakers And Deputy Speakers Salaries Act, 1937 4 of 1937 [29 October 1937] AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE SALARIES OF THE SPEAKER AND THE DEPUTY SPEAKER OF THE ORISSA LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY. WHEREAS by the Government of India Act, 1935, provision has been made for the determination of the salaries of the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker of the Orissa Legislative Assembly by an Act of the Provincial Legislature; It is hereby enacted as follows:- 1. Short Title And Commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Orissa Legislative Assembly Speakers and Deputy Speakers Salaries Act, 1937. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Salary Of The Speaker :- There shall be paid to the Speaker of the Orissa Legislative Assembly a salary at the rate of One Thousand rupees a month. 3. Salary Of The Deputy Speaker :- There shall be paid to the Deputy Speaker of the Orissa Legislative Assembly a salary at the rate of three hundred and fifty rupees a month.
