1. This transfer petition has been filed to transfer M.C.No.255/2023 on the files of the Family Court, Kozhikode to the Family Court, Kannur.

2. I have heard both sides.

3. The petitioner is the wife and the 1st respondent is the husband. It is submitted that O.P.No.663/2023 between the petitioner and the 1st respondent

is now pending before the Family Court, Kannur. Moreover, the petitioner is a resident of Kannur.

It is settled that while considering the transfer petitions in family matters, the convenience of wife should be given predominance. Accordingly, this

transfer petition is allowed. M.C.No.255/2023 pending on the fies of the Family Court, Kozhikode is withdrawn and transferred to the Family Court,

Kannur for trial and disposal.
