1. This original application is registered on the basis of the letter petition sent by one Gulabwati, resident of Village Bibipur, Police Station Banthra, Tehsil Sarojni Nagar, Janpad, Lucknow, UP.
2. Grievance of the applicant is in respect of the alleged fruit orchard near the residence of the applicant and the plea of the applicant is that some persons after colluding are trying to destroy the fruit bearing plants and also the plants having medicinal value existing on the orchard. Applicant has stated that certain medicines have been put on the roots of the trees to destroy them and this complaint was made to the police station on 02.05.2024 and 03.05.2024 but no action has been taken.
3. We are the view that such a complaint needs to be first looked into and appropriate action, if required, is to be taken by the concerned DFO. Hence, we dispose of the original application directing the DFO, Lucknow to duly consider the grievance raised by the applicant and take appropriate remedial action if the complaint is found to be correct, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months.
4. Let a copy of this letter petition along with a copy of this order be forwarded to the DFO, Lucknow for necessary further action.
