D. Murugesan, J.@mdashThis matter pertains to the eviction of the tenants. The Supreme Court in Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. and Another Vs. N.R. Vairamani and Another, has held that the landlord should resort only to rent control proceedings for eviction. In view of the said law laid down by the Apex Court this writ petition is dismissed giving liberty to the landlord to resort to the remedy under the Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act. No costs.
