1. Heard.

2. The applicant has preferred this application filed under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail as he is arrested in connection with crime

No.36/2019 registered in Police Station Bortalab Dist: Rajnandgaon (C.G.) for the offences punishable under Sections 376, 294, 506, 34, 507 of the

IPC.

3. The applicant allegedly committed sexual intercourse with the prosecutrix for a period of 1 ½ years on promise to marry MCRC No. 906 of 2020

but later on refused to marry her.

4. Learned counsel for the State would oppose the prayer.

5. Considering the fact that the prosecutrix is aged more than 18 years and the alleged sexual intercourse continued for a period of 1 ½ years as also

for the reason that the applicant is in jail since 20.12.2019, this Court is inclined to release him on bail. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the

applicant is directed to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of ₹ 50,000/- with one surety for the like amount to the

satisfaction of the trial Court. He is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
