1. This writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner against the order passed by the Collector, Bilaspur on 05.06.2018.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the impugned order is without jurisdiction and without authority of law and,

therefore, it is liable to be set aside.

3. On the other hand, learned State counsel submits that the order of Collector is revisable before the Commissioner.

4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties.

5. Be that as it may, since remedy of revision is available to the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. However, if revision

is preferred by the petitioner before the Commissioner within a period of two weeks, in that event, the Commissioner shall consider and do well to

dispose of the petitioner's revision expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of filing of the revision after hearing the

affected parties.

6. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).

7. Certified copy of the impugned order be returned to the counsel for the petitioner on furnishing attested photocopy thereof.
