1. This writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner being aggrieved against the order dated 30.05.2018 (Annexure - P/1) passed by the Regional

Transport Authority Surguja, Ambikapur rejecting the application filed by the petitioner for grant of regular stage carriage permit.

2. Learned State counsel submits that the said order is appealable before the Appellate Authority under Section 90 of the Motor Vehicles Act.

3. I have heard learned counsel for the parties.

4. Since, the petitioner has remedy of appeal before the Appellate Tribunal, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. However, the

petitioner would be at liberty to prefer an appeal before the Appellate Authority in accordance with law.

4. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).

5. Certified copy of the impugned order be returned to the counsel for the petitioner on furnishing attested photo copy thereof.
