1. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that petitioner is entitled for maternity leave for a period of 180 days whereas

the respondent No. 4 has granted only 90 days of maternity leave therefore, she may be granted liberty to make representation before the respondent

No. 4- District Tuberculosis Officer, District Balod, in view of the decision rendered by this Court in the case of Devshree Bandhe v. Chhattisgarh

State Power Holding Company Limited and Others (WPS No. 101/2017).

2. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Be that as it may, petitioner is at liberty to make representation before the concerned authority along with copy of the order passed in Devshree

Bandhe (supra) within ten days from today. If such a representation is preferred by the petitioner then, the concerned authority shall consider and

decide the petitioner's representation for grant of further 90 days of maternity leave in light of the decision rendered by this Court in Devshree Bandhe

(supra) expeditiously preferably within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of representation.

4. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
