2. Sh. Ashok Aggarwal, Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3. Copy of the writ petition be supplied to the counsel for the respondents by the counsel for the petitioner.

3. The petitioner has approached this Court seeking directions to the respondents No. 1 to 3 not to promote respondent No. 4 which according to the petitioner is junior to the petitioner.

4. From the perusal of the record, we find that a legal notice dated July 3, 2006 (Annexur P-4) has already been issued by the petitioner which remains unresponded so far.

5. Consequently, without commenting upon the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to the District Education Officer (Primary) Elementary Schools, Mansa, Distt. Mansa to take a final decision on the aforesaid legal notice Annexure P-4 within a period of 4 months of the date a certified copy of this order is received.

6. Copy of the order be given dasti on payment of the usual charges.
