Alok Singh, J.@mdashThis is a petition seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 41, dated 21.03.2011, under Sections 323, 325, 379, 427, 148, 149 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Chamkaur Sahib, District Ropar.

2. As per the prosecution story, on 18.03.2011 at about 7.30 PM, accused were holding sticks in their hand, came in the field of the complainant and started giving blows on the complainant party. On X-ray, nasal bone of Ranjit Singh was found fractured. Prosecution story is duly corroborated by the medical report. It is further contended in the FIR that Rs. 9,000/- were also taken away from the pocket of Kulwant Singh.

3. Investigation is at very crucial stage. In the facts and circumstances of the case, custodial interrogation seems to be justified.

4. Considering totality of the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the Petitioner.

Dismissed.
