2. Learned Counsel submitted that the accused-petitioner stands convicted by concurrent findings u/s 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and
has been awarded one year RI with a fine of Rs. 5,000/-. Learned Counsel further submitted that the fine amount has already been deposited and
the petitioner is lodged in jail for the past one month and ten days.
3. Thus, taking into account totality of circumstances, prayer for suspension of jail sentence is allowed and it is directed that during pendency of this
revision, jail sentence of Kulwinder Singh son of Karnail Singh shall remain suspended. He shall be released on bail on his furnishing a bond in the
sum of Rs. 25,000/- with two solvent sureties in the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalandhar.
