2. The Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered against him on 11.06.2010 for the offences under Sections 307, 341, 323, 324, 148 and

149 IPC, at Police Station Bhadson, District Patiala.

3. The FIR in the case has been registered on the complaint of Balkar Singh. It is alleged by the complainant Balkar Singh alias Rinku that in the

incident, that occurred on 10.06.2010, the Petitioner-Boota Singh is alleged to have given a kirpan blow with an intention to kill him (complainant).

The complainant in order to save himself put his hands in front and the kirpan blow hit on his hands. Then, he also took a rod from Satnam Singh

and gave a blow on the head of the complainant with an intention to kill him. As per medical report (Annexure P-3) of Balkar Singh, there are five

injuries on his person and injury No. 2 is lacerated wound over left side of forehead above the left eye-brow. X-ray was advised. The said injury,

after X-ray, has been opined as grievous.

4. The Petitioner is in custody since 30.07.2010. The complainant-Balkar Singh was discharged from hospital on 13.6.2010. The trial in the case

is likely to take time. The prosecution is to establish whether the offence u/s 307 IPC is made out or not against the Petitioner.

5. In the circumstances, the Petitioner on his furnishing personal bond and surety to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patiala,

shall be admitted to bail.

6. The criminal miscellaneous petition stands disposed of.
