Nagrath, J.@mdashThe instant petition is for quashing of FIR No. 36 dated 18.06.2008 registered under Sections 406 /420 /498-A /506 I.P.C. and the consequent proceedings on the basis of written compromise arrived at between the parties. Report has been received from the trial Court after recording statements of the parties on compromise. Respondent No. 2 made a statement before the trial Court that compromise has been effected with the intervention of respectable from both the sides and has no objection if the F.I.R. is quashed. The trial Court has also sent original statements of complainant-respondent No. 2 and both the petitioners. It has reported that compromise is voluntary and without any pressure or coercion. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the divorce decree has since been granted by the Matrimonial Court.
