Ritu Bahri, J.@mdashThis petition u/s 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is for issuance of direction to the official respondents not to harass or interfere in the peaceful married life of the petitioners at the instance of the private respondents. On notice, reply has been filed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Shahkot, Jalandhar, stating that in view of the instructions of State of Punjab security has been provided to the petitioners and their statement to that extent has been recorded (Annexure R1). The statements of the family members of the girl i.e. respondents No. 5 to 9 have been recorded (Annexure R-II to R-V) in which they have stated that they have no objection to the marriage of their daughter with Manvir Singh-petitioner No. 2 and they will not interfere in the married life of the petitioners.
2. In spite of the statements made by respondents No. 5 to 9 before the police, the petitioners are apprehending danger.
3. Since the security has been provided by the police, no further orders are required to be passed. The petition is disposed of.
