Kanwaljit Singh Ahluwalia, J.@mdashMr. Sudeep Mahajan, counsel appearing for the Petitioner has stated that during the course of day, there

has been a meeting between the parties. He has stated that Petitioner, who is present in person has talked with the husband of Respondent-

landlady and due to intervention of counsel for the parties, it has been agreed that Petitioner will not press the present petition, if eighteen months

time is granted to him to vacate and hand over actual physical vacant possession of the demised premises. It is further stated that Petitioner shall

pay the entire arrears of rent and continue to pay the same by 10 th of each following month.

2. In view of the consensus formulated between the parties, tenant-Petitioner is granted eighteen months time to vacate and hand over actual

physical vacant possession of the demised premises to the Respondent-landlady. He shall file an undertaking by 6.1.2010 before the Rent

Controller that he shall hand over actual physical vacant possession of the demised premises on or before 31.5.2012. He shall also undertake that

the entire arrears of rent shall be paid immediately and the future rent by10th of each following months.

3. Mr. Sudeep Mahajan, counsel for the Petitioner prays that the present petition be dismissed as withdrawn.]

4. Ordered accordingly.

5. Needless to say that in case the consensus formulated in this order is not adhered to by either of the parties, then the law will take its own

course.
