K.C. Puri, J.@mdashVide this order, I intend to dispose of Crl. M.No. M-11607 of 2013 titled as Ravi Kumar vs. State of Punjab, Crl. M.No.

M-18060 of 2013 titled as Sunesh Kumar vs. State of Punjab and Crl. M.No. M-19918 of 2013 titled as Kamaljit Singh @ Rimpi vs. State of

Punjab, as all these three petitions have arisen out of FIR No. 144 dated 19.6.2012 under Sections 420, 489B, 489C, 120B IPC registered at

Police Station Kotwali, Patiala. All the three petitioners have applied for grant of regular bail in the abovesaid FIR.

2. As per allegation of the prosecution, a secret information was received that Ravi Kumar S/o. Prem Chand-applicant, Abhishek @ Dimpy S/o.

Satyavir, Kamaljit Singh @ Rimpi S/o. Banarasi Das-applicant, Parshotam S/o. Kasturi Lal and Sunesh Kumar S/o. Diya Ram-applicant, are

dealing with business of fake currency notes and circulates the fake currency amongst innocent persons by projecting them as real and defraud and

cheat innocent persons and incur loss to the Government and the financial position of the country. The above persons were coming in I-20 car

bearing registration No. JK 02-AP 3466 from Haryana via Rajpura to Patiala and if they are checked at the spot, then fake currency of heavy

quantity can be recovered from their possession.

3. Accordingly, naka was held. At about 12.15 p.m. one I-20 car bearing registration No. JK 02-AP 3466 white colour came from Rajpura side,

which was signaled to stop by SI. Instead of stopping the car, the driver of the car tried to run away towards left side road of Radio Station. Due

to nervousness of the driver, the car turned off. A Hindu clean shaven man aged about 30-32 years came out of the car by opening the rear door

of the car and ran towards Phase-3 who was identified by ASI Guljar Singh as Kamaljit Singh @ Rimpi-applicant. ASI Lakhwinder Singh and HC

Iqbal Singh were directed to follow the person who ran away. Both persons sitting on the front seats in the car were overpowered and their names

and addresses were enquired, on which the driver of the car disclosed his name as Ravi Kumar S/o. Prem Chand R/o. House No. 264, Kasam

Nagar, Narwal Jammu-applicant and the person sitting on the adjoining seat disclosed his name as Abhishek @ Dimpy S/o. Satya Veer. During

the search of the car, from the driver Ravi Kumar 2 packets containing 200 fake currency notes of denomination of Rs. 1000/- each i.e. Rs. 2 lacs

were recovered from the right and left pockets of the pant worn by him. The same were put in a plastic box and a separate parcel was prepared.

On the search of Abhishek @ Dimpy, 180 fake currency notes of denomination of Rs. 1000/- each i.e. Rs. 1,80,000/- were recovered from the

right and left pockets of the pant worn by him. Later on Sunesh Kumar was arrested and fake currency notes of Rs. 50,000/- of denomination of

Rs. 1000/- each were recovered from him.

4. Applications filed by Sunesh Kumar and Kamaljit Singh @ Rimpi are the second bail applications, whereas the application filed by Ravi Kumar

is the first bail application.

5. The case is fixed for prosecution evidence and according to the State counsel, only one witness remains to be examined and the next date

before the trial Court is stated to be 14.10.2013.

6. Heavy recovery of fake currency notes has taken place from the petitioners Ravi Kumar and Sunesh Kumar. Kamaljit Singh @ Rimpi was

stated to be present at the time of recovery, but he ran away. Some enemy of the countries are trying to destabilise the country by pumping fake

currency notes. The petitioners are the part of that conspiracy. So no ground for grant of bail is made out. Otherwise also the case is at the fag

end.

7. Consequently, all the three petitions stand dismissed. However, the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.
