1. The present petition has been filed u/s 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure for issuing of direction to Respondents No. 2 and 3 to provide security to the life and liberty of the Petitioners who have married against the wishes of Respondents No. 4 to 6.

2. Heard.

3. Learned Counsel for the Petitioners states that the Petitioners will be satisfied if Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala i.e. Respondent No. 2 is directed to take appropriate action in accordance with law on application dated 13.12.2010 (Annexure P-5), made to him by the Petitioners.

4. As per averments made in the petition both the Petitioners are major. Date of birth of Petitioner No. 1-Preetma, as per copy of certificate of Matriculation Examination, Annexure P1, is 25.09.1989 and date of birth of Petitioner No. 2- Gurusevak Singh as per copy of certificate of Matriculation Examination, Annexure P2, is 19.04.1985. They got married on 13.12.2010_ as per Marriage (Anand Karaj) Certificate, Annexure P4. Photographs of the marriage are Annexure P3.

5. In view of the limited prayer made by the learned Counsel for the Petitioners and without going into the merits of the claim raised by the Petitioners in the petition, this petition is disposed of with direction to Respondent No. 2 i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala to take appropriate action in accordance with law on application dated 13.12.2010 (Annexure P5) as already stated to have been moved to him by the Petitioners.
