S.J. Mukhopadhaya, J.@mdashThis application has been preferred by petitioner for direction on the respondents to grant him a fresh electrical

connection in the premises in question.

2. According to petitioner, the premises in question was allotted in his favour by the Housing Board and he applied fresh electrical connection but it

has not been allowed as certain dues have been shown against the erstwhile owner/occupant of the premises.

3. Counsel for the respondents opposed the prayer on the ground that no order of allotment of the premises in favour of petitioner has been

enclosed with the writ petition.

4. In the circumstances, the case is remitted with liberty to petitioner to approach the Assistant Electrical Engineer, Adityapur, Jamshedpur. If the

petitioner produces any letter of allotment of the house in question and applies for fresh electrical connection, the respondents will not force the

petitioner to deposit any amount as was due against the erstwhile occupant. In such case, the authorities will be liable to give fresh electrical

connection immediately on receipt of such evidence relating to allotment of the house and requisition of requisite fees and forms.

5. If any adverse decision is taken, the authority will communicate the ground to the petitioner.
