1. The petitioner had approached this Court with a prayer that the respondents be directed to pay arrears salaries for the services she had rendered to the School in question along with restoring here actual position thereto.

2. In the course of hearing the learned counsel for the parties and in view of the fact that the petitioner is no longer an employee of the respondent School, on the suggestion of the Court, the respondent No. 5 had calculated the salary as admissible to the petitioner, less the amount she had already been paid for the services rendered.

3. Though there were objections from the part of learned counsel for the petitioner as to the amount, but in consideration thereof, today on instructions, an amicable solution had been arrived at whereby the petitioner is agreeable to accept an amount of ₹1,00,000/- (Rupees One lakh) only as a final and full settlement for the services rendered.

4. The cheque, in open Court, has been handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner, photocopy whereof shall be supplied to the Court Master for placement in the record.

5. Accordingly, in view of the said settlement, this matter stands closed and disposed of.
