Mr. Phungyo Zingkhai, learned Deputy GA appearing for the respondents submitted that in view of the letter dated 13-02-2024 from the Executive Engineer, Building Division No. II, PWD addressed to the Superintending Engineer (HQ), PWD, Manipur enclosed as Annexure C/1 to the affidavit-in-opposition filed by the respondents, no cause survives for adjudication and that the present writ petition can be disposed of as infructuous.
Mr. Wungpam Yangya, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners also fairly submitted that in view of the said letter, the present writ petition can be closed as infructuous. The learned counsel for the petitioner, however, submitted that despite closing of this writ petition, the petitioner be given liberty to approach the competent authorities, if they have any grievances.
In view of the submission made by the counsel appearing for the parties, the present writ petition is hereby closed as infructuous.
Needless to mention here that the petitioners are at liberty to approach the authorities, if they have any grievances, in connection with the said letter.
