The respondent has challenged the award of State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Rajasthan dated 31.08.2018 by which the respondent was directed to refund Rs.27,07,000/- with interest @ 18% per annum from the date of deposit till 11.10.2017 and thereafter, @ 9% per annum from 11.10.2017 till the date of refund and Rs.200000/- as compensation for mental pain and Rs.20000/- as litigation cost with interest @9% per annum from 11.10.2017 till the date of refund.  Counsel for the appellants proposed that the appellants are ready to refund the principal amount with interest @10.5% per annum from the date of respective deposit till the date of refund.  The counsel appearing for the claimant/respondent fairly agrees to accept that amount.  In view of the consent of both the parties, this appeal is disposed of with direction to the appellants to refund Rs.27,07,000/- with interest @10.5% per annum from the date of respective deposit till the date of refund and the cost as well as the compensation awarded by the State Commission will remain same.  The compensation for mental pain of Rs.200000/- and cost of Rs.20000/- will not carry any interest.  The order shall be complied with within eight weeks from today.
