1. This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short ‘Cr.P.C.’) by the petitioner/sole accused

seeking direction to the learned Special Judge for Trial of Offences under S.C. & S.T. (POA ) Act-cum-VI Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge at

Secunderabad, to expeditiously dispose of Spl.S.C.No.09 of 2020.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent State and perused the record.

3. The crime was registered in the year 2018 and charge sheet was filed in the year 2019. Though the victim was examined in the year 2020, there

appears to be no progress in the trial.

4. A Criminal Case shall be concluded by adopting procedure under Section 309 of the Cr.P.C. taking up the case on day-to-day basis. Since it is not

practically possible, this Court directs the concerned Court to issue summons and conclude the process of trial within a period of four months from the

date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, Criminal Petition is disposed off.

Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
