Change of designation of Government Advocate ADVOCATE GENERAL (DESIGNATION) ACT, 1941 4 of 1941 [January 27, 1941] Whereas, it is expedient to change the designation of the Government Advocate in Mysore; it is hereby enacted as follows 1. Short title and commencement :- (a) This Act may be called the Advocate-General (Designation) Act, 1941. (b) It shall come into force at once. 2. Change of designation of Government Advocate :- For the words "Government Advocate" wherever they occur in any Regulation, Act or cither law for the time being in force, or any Rules, Order or Notification made under any such Regulation, Act or other law, the words "Advocate-General" shall be substituted.
