Validation of a marriage solemnized by the Rev.John C.Perry,after the revocation of his licences ANDHRA PRADESH (ANDHRA AREA) CHRISTIAN MARRIAGE VALIDATION ACT, 1954 13 of 1954 [13th December, 1954] An Act to validate the marriage of Sri Axel Hugo Johanssonand Srimathi Carol Belle Brown. 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh(Andhra Area) Christian Marriage Validation Act,1954. 2. Validation of a marriage solemnized by the Rev.John C.Perry,after the revocation of his licences :- (1) The marriage of Sri AxelHuge Johansson and Srimathi Carol Belle Brown solemnized by the RevJohn C.Perry of the United Lutheran Church Mission in the districtof Guntur, on 13th day of December 1952, and the certificate granted,the register book and extracts therefrom deposited, and the otheracts and things done, in respect of, or in relation to that marriage,shall not be deemed to be invalid by reason only of the fact thatthe licences granted under t h e Indian Christian Marriage Act, 1872to the said Rev. John C.Perry on the 16th day of March 1950, had beenrevoked. (2) The certificate of the marriage validated by subection(1), and the register book and extracts therefrom referred to in thatsubection, shall be received as evidence of the marriage without furthter proof thereof.
