Whereas it is expedient to facilitate the administration of certain enactments; it is hereby enacted as follows:-- 1. Short title, substituted by A.P. Act 9 of 1961. 1. Short Title :- This Act may be called [the Andhra Pradesh (Andhra Area) Decentralization Act, 1914] 2. Amendment Of Certain Enactments :- The enactments specified in the third column of the Schedule are hereby amended to the extent and in the manner specified in 4th column thereof. 3. Saving Of Orders, Etc., Issued By Previous Authorities :- Any appointment, notification, order, scheme, rule form or by -law made or issued by an authority for the making or issuing of which a n ew authority is substituted by or under this Act shall, unless inconsistent with this Act, be deemed to have been made or issued b y such new authority unless and until superseded by an appointment, notification, order, scheme, rule, form or by-law made or issued by such new authority.
