Repeal Of Andhra Pradesh Ordinance 2 Of 1965 Andhra Pradesh Co-Operative Societies (Amendment) Act, 1965 29 of 1965 [22 December 1965] An Act to amend the Andhra Pradesh Co-operative Societies Act, 1964. Be It enacted by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Sixteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short Title And Commencement :- (1) This Act, may be called the Andhra Pradesh Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Act, 1965. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st October, 1965. 2. Section 2 :- (Amendments are carried in the main Act, 1964) 3. Repeal Of Andhra Pradesh Ordinance 2 Of 1965 :- T h e Andhra Pradesh Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Ordinance, 1965 is hereby repealed. In respect of certain co-operative societies, it was found not possible for the person or persons appointed under Section 32 (7) (a) to conduct elections to the committees within the aggregate period of one year due to certain practical difficulties. The aggregate period of one year specified in clause (a) of sub-section (7) of Section 32, has therefore been made two years.
