Repeal Of Ordinance 16 Of 1994 Andhra Pradesh College Service Commission (Amendment) Act, 1995 15 of 1995 [16 February 1995] An Act further to amend the Andhra Pradesh College Service Commission Act, 1985. Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Forty-Sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short Title And Commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh College Service Commission (Amendment) Act, 1995. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect on and from the 8th September, 1994. 2. Amendment Of Section 1, Act 13 Of 1985 :- In the Andhra Pradesh College Service Commission Act, 1985( Act 13 of 1985) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in Section 1, in sub-section (2), in clause (b), after the words "Government Colleges", the words "including Government Polytechnics" shall be inserted. 3. Amendment Of Section 2 :- In Section 2 of the Principal Act, in clause (b) for the words "includes a Junior college", the words "includes a Government Polytechnic and a Junior College" shall be substituted. 4. Amendment Of Section 10 :- Amendments made to Sections 1, 2 and 10 are incorporated in the main Act. 5. Notwithstanding Any Thing Contained In The Principal Act, As Amended By The Andhra Pradesh College Service Commission (Amendment) Act, 1995 :- It shall be competent for the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission to continue the process of selection of teachers to Government Polytechnics and complete the same in respect of the vacancies already notified for recruitment prior to the commencement of this Act 6. Repeal Of Ordinance 16 Of 1994 :- The Andhra Pradesh College Service Commission (Amendment) Ordinance, 1994 is hereby repealed.
