Repeal Of Ordinance 1 Of 1990 Andhra Pradesh Gram Panchayats And The Andhra Pradesh Mandala Praja Parishads, Zilla Praja Parishads And Zilla Pranalika And Abhivrudhi Sameeksha Mandala (Amendment) Act, 1990 6 of 1990 An Act further to amend the Andhra Pradesh Gram Panchayats Act, 1964 and the Andhra Pradesh Mandala Praja Parishads, Zilla Praja Parishads and Zilla Pranalika and Abhivrudhi Sameeksha Mandals Act, 1986. Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Forty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short Title And Commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Gram Panchayats and the Andhra Pradesh Mandala Praja Parishads, Zilla Praja Parishads and Zilla Pranalika and Abhivrudhi Sameeksha Mandala (Amendment) Act, 1990. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 25th January, 1990. 2. Amendment Of Section 9-A :- In the Andhra Pradesh Gram Panchayats Act, 1964 (Act 2 of 1964), in section 9A, for the expression "after the 25th January, 1990", the expression "after the 25th January, 2000" shall be substituted. 3. Amendment Of Section 91-A :- In the Andhra Pradesh Mandala Praja Parishads, Zilla Praja Parishads and Zilla Pranalika and Abhivrudhi Sameeksha Mandals Act, 1986(Act 31 of 1986), in section 91A, for the words "on the expiration of a period often years from the commencement of this Act", the expression "after the 25th January, 2000" shall be substituted. 4. Repeal Of Ordinance 1 Of 1990 :- The Andhra Pradesh Gram Panchayats and the Andhra Pradesh Mandala Praja Parishads, Zilla Praja Parishads and Zilla Pranalika and Abhivrudhi Sameeksha Mandals (Amendment) Ordinance, 1990 is hereby repeated.
