Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Thirty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows :- * Received the assent of the Governor on the 29th March, 1986. Short Title And Commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Gram Panchayats and Panchayat Samithis and Zilla Parishads (Amendment) Amending Act, 1986. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 31st December, 1985. 2. Amendment Of Section 2 :- In the Andhra Pradesh Gram Panchayats and Panohayat Samithis and Zilla Parishads (Amendment). Act, 1985 ( Act 12 of 1985), in section 2, in the proviso, for the expression "31st December, 1985", the expression "31st July, 1986" shall be substituted. 3. Repeal Of Ordinance 120 Of 1985 :- The Andhra Pradesh Gram Panchayats and Panchayat Samithis and Zilla Parishads (Amendment) Amending Ordinance, 1985 is hereby repealed.
