ANDHRA PRADESH LICENSED SURVEYORS (LICENSING AND REGULATION) RULES, 2003 In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 26 of the Andhra Pradesh Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923. the Government of Andhra-Pradesh hereby makes the following rules in order to carry out the purposes of Section 7 of the said Act, amended by the Andhra Pradesh Survey and Boundaries (Amendment) Act, 1995. 1. . :- These Rules may be called the Andhra Pradesh Licensed Surveyors (Licensing and Regulation) Rules, 2003 2. . :- The Director of Settlement Survey and Land Records may Issue a License to any persons possessing prescribed qualifications. The persons so licensed shall be referred to as Licensed Surveyor. 3. . :- License so issued will be valid for a period of (3) years and will be renewable thereafter for blocks of (3) years. 4. . :- The Director Settlement Survey and Land Records shall prescribed the qualifications and training required for the licensed surveyors, the License fees, license renewal fee payable by the Licensed Surveyors, the fees to be collected by the Licensed Surveyor from their clients and the manner of issue and cancellation of Licenses. 5. . :- The Director of Settlement Survey and Land Records shall prescribed the jurlsdiction of licensed Surveyors. 6. . :- The licensed Surveyor shall be deemed to be Survey Officer fur the purposes of Section 22 of the Andhra Pradesh Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923 . 7. . :- The Survey Records prepared by the Licensed Surveyor shall be scrutinized and authenticated in such a manner as may be prescribed by the Director of Settlements Survey and Land Records.
