Amendment of Section 6(C) Andhra Pradesh Rights In Land And Pattadar Pass Books (Amendment) Act, 2001 16 of 2001 AN ACT FURTHER TO AMEND THE ANDHRA PRADESH RIGHTS IN LAND AND PATTADAR PASS BOOKS ACT, 1971. Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Fifty-Second Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title, extent and commencement :- 1. This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books (Amendment) Act, 2001. 2. It extends to the whole of the State of Andhra Pradesh. 3. It shall be deemed to have come into force on and from the 6th June, 1996. 2. Amendment of Section 6(C) :- In the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971(Act 26 of 1971) in Section 6(C), in sub-section (1), in the proviso for the words "In the Andhra Pradesh Gazette" the words "in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette or in the District Gazette", shall be substituted.
