Amendment Of Section 2 Anna University, Coimbatore (Amendment) Act, 2007 27 of 2007 An Act to amend the Anna University, Coimbatore Act, 2006 Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Fifty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows :-- 1. Received the Assent of the Governor of Tamil Nadu on the June 6, 2007 -- Published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Extraordinary, Part IV, Section 2, Iss. No. 157, page 83, dated June 8, 2007. 1. Short Title And Commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Anna University, Coimbatore (Amendment) Act, 2007. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint. 2. Amendment Of Section 1 :- In Section 1 of the Anna University, Coimbatore Act, 2006 (Tamil Nadu Act 42 of 2006) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in sub-section (2), the expression "Dindigul" and "Theni", shall be omitted. 3. Amendment Of Section 2 :- In Section 2 of the principal Act, in clause (22), the expression "Dindigul" and "Theni" shall be omitted.
