Amendment of section 4 Assam Administrative And Pension Tribunal (Amendment) Act, 2005 30 of 2005 [13 May 2005] PREAMBLE AN ACT Further to amend the Assam Administrative Tribunal Act, 1977. Whereas it is expedient to amend the Assam Administrative Tribunal Act, 1977, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act, in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Fifty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title, extent and commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Assam Administrative and Pension Tribunal (Amendment) Act, 2005. (2) It shall have the like extent as the principal Act. (3) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment of the long title and short title :- In the principal Act in the long title and Short title, in between the words "Administrative" and "Tribunal" the words "and Pension" shall be inserted. 3. Insertion in the Preamble :- In the principal Act, in the Preamble, in between the words "service" and "of", the words "including pension matters" shall be inserted. 4. Amendment of section 2 :- In the principal Act, in section 2- (i) in clause (e), in sub-clause (i), in between the words "service" and "of", the words "and pension matters" shall be inserted. (ii) in clause (i), in between the words "Administrative" and "Tribunal", the words "and pension" shall be inserted. 5. Amendment of section 3 :- In the principal Act, in section 3, in sub-section (1), in between the words "Administrative" and "Tribunal", the words "and Pension" shall be inserted. 6. Amendment of section 4 :- In the principal Act, in section 4, in sub-section (1), the "." (full stop) appearing at the end shall be deleted and thereafter the words "and pension matters" shall be inserted.
