Amendment of section 23 Assam Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Amendment) Act, 2000 05 of 2000 [06 May 2000] PREAMBLE An Act to amend the Assam Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation Act, 1990. W hereas it is expedient to amend the Assam Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation Act, 1990 (Assam Act No. 1 of 1991), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act, in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Fifty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title, extent and commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Assam Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Amendment) Act, 2000. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Assam. (3) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment of section 15 :- In the principal Act, in section 15, in clause (ii), in sub-clause (c),- (i) in the first line, for the word "either", the words "on its own or" shall be substituted; (ii) in the second line, in between the words "corporate bodies" and "or", the punctuation mark and words, "Government Departments" shall be inserted. 3. Amendment of section 23 :- In the principal Act, in section 23, in sub-section (3),- (i) in the second line, in between the words "loan" and "under", the words and sign "and/or after mobilizing resources from the market" shall be inserted; (ii) in the third line, for the words "fifty crores", the words "five hundred crores" shall be substituted.
