Repeal of Assam Act XV of 1985 Assam Repealing (No. II) Act, 1986 08 of 1986 [11 August 1986] PREAMBLE An Act to repeal the Assam Colleges (Taking over of Management Control Act, 1985 (Assam Act XV of 1985). Whereas it is expedient to repeal the Assam Colleges (Taking over of Management And Control) Act, 1985. It is hereby enacted in the Thirty-seventh year of the Republic of India as follows:-- 1. Short title and commencement :- (i) This Act may be called the Assam Repealing (No. II) Act, 1986. (ii) It shall come into force at once. 2. Repeal of Assam Act XV of 1985 :- The Assam Colleges (Taking over of Management And Control) Act, 1985 (Assam Act XV of 1985) shall stand repealed.
