XXII of 1951), The Governor of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules Governing recruitment to the post of Assistant Intelligence Officer (equivalent to Head Constable, Grade-I). Class-Ill namely 1. . :- These rules may be called the Assistant Intelligence officer (equivalent to Head Constable Grade-I) Class-Ill in the State Crime Investigation department (Intelligence Bureau, Recruitment Rules, 1991. 2. . :- Appointment to the post of Assistant Intelligence officer (equivalent to Head Constable, Grade-I), in the State Crime Investigation Department (Intelligence Bureau), Class-Ill shall be made by transfer of a person from amongst the Head Constables Grade-II (Armed Branch or Unarmed Branch or wireless branch) and constables working in the Gujarat Sub-ordinate service class-Ill Police Department to the State Crime Investigation Department (Intelligence Bureau). 3. . :- Appointment to the post mentioned in rule 2 above shall be made on merits and suitability
