Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Bihar in the thirty second year of the Republic of India, a follows:- 1. Short Title And Commencement :- ( 1 ) This Act may be called the Bihar Cooperative Societies (Amendment) Act 1982. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Bihar. Incorporated In The Text Of The Act :- 12. Repeal, Savings And Validation :- (1) Bihar Cooperative Societies (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 1981 (Bihar Ordinance no. 190 of 1981) and Bihar Cooperative Societies (Amendment) Amending Ordinance, 1981 (Bihar Ordinance no. 199 of 1981) are hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken in the exercise of any powers conferred by or under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken in the exercise of powers conferred by or under this Act as if this Act were in force on the day on which such thing or action was done or taken. (3) Notwithstanding the expiration of the Bihar Cooperative Societies (Amendment) Ordinance, 1971 (Bihar Ordinance no. 19 of 1971) all sections taken and things done (including rules or orders made, notifications or notices issued, loans granted, mortgage deeds or other instruments executed and any rights. privileges, obligations of liabilities acquired, accrued or incurred in connection therewith) during the period commencing from the promulgation of the Bihar Cooperative Societies (Amendment) Ordinance, 1968 (Gihar Ordinance 11 or 1968 and ending with the commencement of the Bihar Cooperative Societies (Amendment) Ordinance, 1975 shall be deemed to have been validly done or taken as if this Act has been in force at all material times.
