B e it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Bihar in the Fifteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the Bihar District Boards and Local Boards (Control and Management) (Amendment) Act, 1964. 2. Amendment of Section 2 of Bihar Act XX of 1958 :- In sub-section (2) of Section 2 of the Bihar District Boards and Local Boards (Control and Management) Act, 1958 (Bihar Act XX of 1958), for the words "not exceeding six years" the words "not exceeding eight years" shall be substituted and shall be deemed always to have been substituted.
