Rates of Sales-Tax Bihar Finance (No.2) Act, 1949 10 of 1949 PREAMBLE An Act to lay down rates of sales-tax payable by a dealer under the Bihar Sales-Tax Act, 1947 for the financial year beginning on the first day of April, 1949. Whereas it is expedient to lay down rates of sales-tax payable by a dealer under the Bihar Sales-Tax Act, 1947, for the financial year beginning on the 1st day of April, 1949. Short title, extent and commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Bihar Finance (No. 2) Act, 1949. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Bihar. (3) It shall come into force on the 1st day of April, 1949. 2. Rates of Sales-Tax :- [Ed.--Bihar Sales-Tax Act, 1947 was repealed by 1959 Act, which was repealed by 1976 Ordinance, which was repealed by Bihar Finance Act, 1981 which has since been repealed by Bihar VAT Act, 2005.]
