Lxii Of 1949 Bombay Taluqdari Tenure Abolition (Amendment) Act, 1966 21 of 1966 [21 November 1966] An Act further to amend the Bombay Taluqdari Tenure Abolition Act, 1949 for certain purposes. It is hereby enacted in the Seventeenth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short Title :- This Act may be called the Bombay Taluqdari Tenure Abolition (Amendment) Act, 1966. 2. Amendment Of Section 5A Of Bom. Lxii Of 1949 :- I n section 5A of the Bombay Taluqdari Tenure Abolition Act, 1949(Bom. LXII of 1949), after sub-section (2A), the following sub- section shall be inserted, namely:- "(2B) Notwithstanding the expiry of the period specified in sub- section (2A), the right conferred under sub-section (1) may be exercised before the end of March, 1968.".
