Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Sixty-first year of the Republic of India as follows:-- ** Published in the Chhattisgarh Rajpatra (Asadharan) dated 7-5-2010 Page 282(1). 1. Short Title And Commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Adhyaksha Tatha Upadhyaksha (Vetan Tatha Bhatta) (Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2010. (2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Amendment Of Section 2 :- In section 2 of the Chhattisgarh Adhyaksha Tatha Upadhyaksha (Vetan Tatha Bhatta) Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 27 of 1972) (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act) for the words "One Thousand Five Hundred" the words "Seven Thousand" shall be substituted. 3. Amendment Of Section 3 :- (i) In sub-section (2) of Section 3 for the words "Five Thousand" the words "Eight Thousand" shall be substituted. (ii) In sub-section (3) of Section 3 for the words "Seven Hundred Sixty Seven" the words "One Thousand One Hundred Ten" and for the words "Seven Hundred Fifty" the words "One Thousand Ninety" shall be substituted.
