Substitution of sub-section (c) of Section 2 with the new subsection (c) attisgarh Chikitsa Mandal Adhiniyam, 200g Chhattisgarh Chikitsa Mandal (Sansodhan) Adhiniyam, 2001 10 of 2001 An Act to amend the Chhattisgarh Chikitsa Mandal Adhiniyam, 2001 (No. 7 of 2001) Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha in the fifty second year of the Republic of India as follows:-- Published in Chhattisgarh Rajpatra dated 24-8-2001 at page No. 372(3). 1. Short title, extent and commencement :- (i) This Act may be called the Chhiattisgarh Chikitsa Mandal (Sansodhan) Adhiniyani, 2001 (No. 10 of 2001). (ii) It extends to the whole of Chhattisgarh. (iii) It shall come into force from such date as the State Government may, by notification appoint. 2. Substitution of words "Practitioner in modern medicine and surgery" with the words "Practitioner in Alternative Medicine :- The words "Practitioner in Alternative Medicine" shall be substituted where ever the words Practitioner in modern medicine and surgery" appear in Chhattisgarh Chikitsa Mandal Adhiniyam, 2001 and its schedule. 3. Substitution of words "Medical and Surgery" with the words :- "Practitioner in Alternative Medicine" Medicine" shall be substituted where ever the words "Medicine and Surgery" appear in Chhattisgarh Chikitsa Mandal Adhiniyam, 2001. 4. Substitution of words "Medical Diploma" with the words "Practitioner in Alternative Medicine" :- The words "Practitioner in Alternative r the words "Medical Diploma" appear in Chhattisgarh Chikitsa Adhiniyam, 2001. 5. Substitution of sub-section (c) of Section 2 with the new subsection (c) attisgarh Chikitsa Mandal Adhiniyam, 200g :- "2(c) Medicine means, alternative medicine in all its branches, but does not include, allopathy, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Naturopathy and Unani Medicine and Veterinary Medicine and Surgery". Section 6 - Amendment in clause (ii) of subjection (1) of Section 4 (1) In clause (ii) of sub-section (1) o Mandal Adhiniyam, 2001, the word "Five"r". (2) Sub-clause (a) of clause (ii) of sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Chhattisgarh Chikitsa Mandal Adhiniyam, 2001 shall be deleted.
