Amendment of Section 1 Chhattisgarh Food Security (Amendment) Act, 2013 30 of 2013 [12 August 2013] PREAMBLE An Act to amend the Chhattisgarh Food Security Act, 2012. Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Sixty-fourth Year of the Republic of India, as follows: -- * Published in the Chhattisgarh Rajpatra (Asadharan) dated 12-8- 2013 Page 710(1). 1. Short title, extent and commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Food Security (Amendment) Act, 2013. (2) It extends to the whole State of Chhattisgarh. (3) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Amendment of Section 1 :- For clause (1) of Section 1 of the Chhattisgarh Food Security Act, 2012 (No. 5 of 2013) (hereinafter referred to as Principal Act), the following shall be substituted, namely: -- "(1) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Food and Nutritional Security Act, 2012." 3 - Amendment of Section 15 In clause (c) of sub-section (4) of Section 15 of the Principal Act, after the word "and" the symbol slash and word "/or" shall be substituted by the word "are".
