Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Sixty-first year of the Republic of India, as follows:-- Published in the Chhattisgarh Rajpatra (Asadharan) dated 17-5-2010 Page 290(1). 1. Short Title, Extent And Commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operation) (Amendment) Act, 2010. (2) It extends to the whole State of Chhattisgarh. (3) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Amendment Of Section 9 :- After sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (establishment and Operation) Act, 2005 (No. 13 of 2005), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:-- "Provided that after the establishment of the University any new teaching programme may be introduced with the prior approval of the State Government.".
