Forms of option under sub-section (2) of Sec. 8 of the Act COCONUT DEVELOPMENT BOARD (FORMS OF OPTION) RULES, 1981 G.S.R. 322 (E), dated 6th May, 1981. 1 -In exercise of the powers conferred by Cl. (h) of sub-section (2) of Sec. 19 of the Coconut Development Board Act, 1979 (5 of 1979), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely :- 1. Short title and commencement :- (1) These rules may be called the Coconut Development Board (Forms of Option) Rules, 1981. (2) They shall come into force on the dale of their publication in the official Gazette. 2. Definitions :- In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires :- (a) "Act" means the Coconut Development Board Act. 1979 (5 of 1979); (b) "Form" means a Form annexed to these rules. 3. Forms of option under sub-section (2) of Sec. 8 of the Act :- The option referred to in sub-section (2) of Section 8 of the Act shall be exercised by the officers and other employees of the Directorate of Coconut Development in Form I or Form II as may be appropriate, within such lime as may be specified in that behalf by the Central Government, to express their willingness or otherwise to become employees of the Coconut Development Board and such option once exercised shall be Final.
