Short title and commencement 2 . Standard weight and remedy allowed on coins of certain denominations coined in commemoration of Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference, 1991 COINAGE (STANDARD WEIGHT AND REMEDY OF COMMEMORATIVE COINS OF TEN RUPEES, FIVE RUPEES AND ONE RUPEE CONTAINING COPPER 75% AND NICKEL 25% COINED IN COMMEMORATION OF COMMONWEALTH PARLIAMENTARY CONFERENCE, 1991) RULES, 1991 S.O. 597(E), dated 9th September, 1991. 1 -In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 21, read with Section 7. of the Comage Act, 1906 (3 of 1906), the Central Government hereby makes the following roles, namely : 1. Short title and commencement :- (1) These roles may be called the Coinage (Standard Weight and Remedy of Commemorative Coins of Ten Rupees, Five Rupees and One Rupee containing Copper 75% and Nickel 25% coined in commemoration of Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference, 1991) Rules, 1991. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette. 2. Standard weight and remedy allowed on coins of certain denominations coined in commemoration of Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference, 1991 :- The standard weight of the coins of the following denominations coined under the provisions of Section 6 of the Coinage Act, 1906 (3 of 1906), in commemoration of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference, 1991 and the remedy allowed in making of such coins shall be as specified in the Table below :
