Short title and commencement 2 . Standard weight and remedy allowed on coins of certain denominations coined on the occasion of India Tourism Year, 1991 COINAGE (STANDARD WEIGHT AND REMEDY OF THE COMMEMORATIVE COINS OF FIVE RUPEES, TWO RUPEES AND ONE RUPEE CONTAINING COPPER 75% AND NICKEL 25%), COINED ON THE OCCASION OF "INDIA TOURISM YEAR 1991", RULES, 1991 S.O. 716(E), dated 21st October, 1991. 1 - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 21, read with Section 7 of the Coinage Act, 1906 (3 of 1906), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules namely : 1. Short title and commencement :- (1) These rules may be called the Coinage (Standard Weight and Remedy of the Conmmemorative Coins of Five Rupees, Two Rupees and One Rupee containing Copper 75% and Nickel 25%), coined on the occasion of "India Tourism Year 1991", Rules, 1991. (2) They shall come into force on the dale of their publication in die official Gazette. 2. Standard weight and remedy allowed on coins of certain denominations coined on the occasion of India Tourism Year, 1991 :- '.- The standard weight of the coins of the following denominations, coined under the provisions of Section 6 of the Coinage Act, 1906 (3 of 1906), on the occasion of "India Tourism Year, 1991" and the remedy allowed in making of such coins shall be as specified in the Table below :-
