Standard Weight and Remedy allowed on eleven sided Two Rupees Coin on the theme "Land Vital Resource" COINAGE (STANDARD WEIGHT AND REMEDY OF THE TWO RUPEES ELEVEN SIDED COIN CONTAINING COPPER 75 PER CENT. AND NICKEL 25 PER CENT. COINED ON THE THEME "LAND VITAL RESOURCE") RULES, 1993 G.S.R. 545(E), dated 10th August, 1993.1-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 21 read with Section 7 of the Coinage Act, 1906 (3 of 1906), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely : 1. Short title and commencement :- (1) These rules may be called the Coinage (Standard Weight and Remedy of the Two Rupees Eleven Sided Coin containing Copper 75 per cent. and Nickel 25 per cent. Coined on the theme "LAND VITAL RESOURCE") Rules, 1993. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette. 2. Standard Weight and Remedy allowed on eleven sided Two Rupees Coin on the theme "Land Vital Resource" :- The standard weight of the coin of Two Rupees coined on the theme "Land Vital Resource" under the provisions of Section 6 of the Coinage Act, 1906 (3 of 1906) on the occasion of the celebration of National Land Conservation Week 14-20 November, 1992 and the remedy allowed in making of such coins shall be as specified in the Table below :
