Compounder (Ayurved) (Class-III) (Panchayat Service) Recruitment Rules, 2002 In exercise of the powers conferred by Sec. 274 read with Sec. 227 of the Gujarat Panchayats Act, 1993 (Guj. 18 of 1993) and in supersession of all the rules made in this behalf, the Government of Gujarat hereby makes the following rule to provide for regulating recruitment to the post of Compounder (Ayurved) (Class-III) (Panchayat Service), namely: 1. . :- These rules may be called the Compounder (Ayurved) (Class-III) (Panchayat Service) Recruitment Rules, 2002. 2. . :- Appointment to the post of Compounder (Ayurved) (Class-III) in (Panchayat Service) shall be made by direct selection. 3. . :- To be eligible for appointment by direct selection to the post mentioned in Rule 2, a candidate shall (a) not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years of age. (b) have passed the Secondary School Certificate Examination with Sanskrit as one of the subjects with fifty percentage of marks. (c) have successfully completed the Certificate Course of Compoundering in Ayurved of an Ayurved Institute recognised by Government. (d) have adequate knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi. 4. . :- A candidate appointed by direct selection shall be on probation for period of one year. 5. . :- A candidate approved by direct selection shall be required to undergo such training for such period and pass such post training examination as may be prescribed by the Government. 6. . :- A selected candidate shall be required to pass the departmental examination and an examination in Gujarati or Hindi or both as may be prescribed by the Government. 7. . :- A candidate appointed by direct selection shall be required to furnish security and surety bond in such form for such amount and for such period as may be prescribed by the Government.
