Short Title, Extent And Commencement :- (1) This Regulation may be called the Dera Ghazi Khan excluded Area Electoral Laws Regulation, 1950.[2] (2) It shall extend to the Excluded Area[3] in the Punjab Province situated to the west of the Dera Ghazi Khan district. (3) It shall come into force with immediate effect. 2. Application Of Certain Rules :- All Rules[4] framed under the Government of India Act, 1935, in connection with elections to the Punjab Legislative Assembly shall apply to the Excluded Area in the Punjab Province situated to the west of the Dera Ghazi Khan district.
